Is this normal?

I know that on smp rigs one cpu is usually a little hotter than the other one, but on mine cpu2 is 10 degrees hotter. I never thought that the gap was supposed to be this big but maybe....let me know.

Depends on airflow in the case, how close that CPU sits near the PSU and how well the heatsink that's on it is actually transferring that heat.

There are many factors involved. I've got a couple of Asus MPX boards and while one maintains identical temps for both CPUs, the other has about a 5C gap between the two. Case design has alot to do with it.

Yes you can have a difference like that, right now i have an 8 degree difference between the two and i have pretty good airflow through the case also.
