im currently in a race to 500, but apparently im going to TIE for 1st place with another guy if i dont step up production...

as in my sig, my 700e is running OK at 144 FSB (the max for my cheap ram)...

my thought was to borrow a friend's 1000eb and stick it at 144 fsb too, how much improvement do you think id see in production? an extra woo maybe?

i used seti timer and found that i would shave off ~20 mins. from my current avg., which is pretty good.

think i should do it?:)

If I can get a rig 1 mhz of fsb, stable, I take it.

I shoot for(in order of priority): max fsb, max memory bandwidth, max cpu mhz on each machine.

20 minutes is a pretty good reduction to me:D

same here. all my rig. i shoot for max. memory speed @ max. setting, than FSB, lastly cpu Ghz........

my P41.8a is slower than my P1.6a despite almost 1000Mhz faster b/c of memory speed!!

i wish i could shave off 20mins on all my P4s & XPs!!! that's a lot when u reach the high Ghz!!!!
