www.analogx.com has a good bandwidth monitor if your interested to see how much you download and upload, shows your avg too.

wow I have Sympatico High Speed edition which costs $45 a month and I get a measly 789/102!!!
Also they've decided to charge me $7.95 for every gig over 5 that I download.
Time to change ISPs!

hehe forgot to add my highest ever.... 38,940kbps....... hehe dont ask how i got this, but i just kept on testing my bandwidth on 2wire.com and this came up and i was hold S***..... lol but i doubt it was at that speed...

Linkline, LA - 1398/265 kbps
coxinet test:
1711.4 kbps
And finally a Roadrunner test which downloads from a server VERY close to me:
290 KB/s ~= 2320 kbps

just ran the test at bandwidth.com and got 3400/413
