I am having some difficulties with my Geforce 4 Ti4400. In the nature scene I only got 43.9 fps and it seemed a little choppy, like it didn't totally flow. So my question is how can I improve the my fps in nature? Here is the result window. My score was 10982 which isn't bad IMO, card is overclocked to 302/627.

you might be able to squeeze a few more mhz out of your gpu but that memory overclock is NICE!!

ive seen several reviews with the gpu's at 330mhz. could mean you need to take the hs/fan off and put some AS3 on the chip then put the hs/fan back on.

i don't even know what the nature scene is cause my card doesn't have the hardware support to run it. but if a ti4400 is having trouble i wouldn't even want mine to attempt it! haha.

are you having trouble oc'ing the gpu? might want to add a fan or two on the side of your case right by the graphics card to help pull some of that case heat away.

Is it just the Nature Demo that seems choppy? Those framerates seem about right... similar to my overclocked 4200 128Mb (310/560). I didn't look at my average fps, but I'm guessing it was around 45-50, with a high of ~72fps, and it never dropped below 35fps.

I've found in the past that if DMA had somehow been disabled on one of my drives then 3D games would be jerky, even though the reported framerate was relatively high. That might not be your problem, but it's something to check.

I took of the stock cooler and I put a cooljag 1u on with alumina adhesive and some AS2. I will probably be able to overclock some more.
