WU's from 1999???

If there's millions of people processing WU's everyday, why are we processing WU's from 1999? Are we really that backed up?

no we arent that backed up :)
if you got one from back then its probably a returned unit that was sent out in 1999, but not completed, or something like that
 
AND if it was from 1999, then it wasn't hit by the version 3.x clients with pulse and triplet detection. In the end, it just means more WUs for us!!

It could just be a late submission..e.g. like when someone gets a new computer and the old one sits in a corner with a WU ready to go, waiting till they fire it up out of nostalgia, and the WU gets uploaded albeit just a bit late....My Boss has a win98 computer that has F@H.. We fired it up just the other day after it sat for two yrs, and F@H showed a dialogue stating work unit ready for upload, that is one viable scenario..
