I am going to buy some memory from Corsair, there XMS stuff, i want to run the bus speed as high as i can, but i also want the CAS 2-2-2 1T timings, the 3000 is rated for this, but at lower bus speeds...the 3200 is rated at 2.5-2-2 1T at higher bus speeds, i would rather have the faster timings than the faster bus speeds, so i am wondering, what one should i buy to get the highest of both....i would think that the 3200 could do 2-2-2-1T a little higher bus speed than the 3000, but i dont know, thanks all

The price difference between them are only around $5.

So there is really no need go for the "price".

This also determind they are pretty similar.

I emailed Corsair tech support with the exact same question and they said XMS3000 and XMS3200 are the exact same except for the default settings.
