How do you change REFRESH RATE in your games, with win 2k pro OS ??? In desktop I can manually change my Refresh rate, however when I play UT or CS, my refresh rate drops to 75mhz and in some cases 60 mhz .... my monitor can handle 100 mhz refresh rate up to 1152 x 864 Res.. Any one hase any ideas ??????

make sure you have vertical sync turned off. Thats all I can come up with.

i heard in an other thread to get the SP2 pack and that that fixes your problems cheif...let me know

Another thing that might do the trick is a little utility from tweakfiles.com called hertztool. With this program you can adjust all refresh rates in Desktop, Direct3D and OpenGL applications.

I installed the SP pack 2 update for Win 2k but with no luck.... Still I can't change the refresh rate.... Will try the tweak utility

Ok I fixed it... I downloaded a utility that set my refresh rate to 100hz
