I have a Voodoo 3 3000,and i wanted to know how to overclock it.
I have a 700Mhz Celeron
191MB PC100 ram
and lots of cooling
so if someone would help I would appreciate it
You can use powerstrip to OC it, goto www.tweakfiles.com and you can download it. Just make sure to cool it, they are naturally hot. I had to put a 7000 rpm proc fan on it to get it stable past 170(voodoo 3 2000 ).

I used the voodoo OC'er, it comes with it. u need to add in a reg key to enable it, 3dfx and nvidia have overclocking stuff all the time.
Find the reg key, i like the 3dfx overclocker better, it follows the KISS rule (Keep it simple, Stupid)

thankyou both for the help
Will those work on a V5 5500 agp card too? New to video OCing how high should I push the voodoo5?

you can find plenty of voodoo tweaks for the 5500. Some are even on my ftp in my sig. That's a great card to OC as long as you have the cooling. The HSF that comes with the card will allow mild OC'ing but I'd highly recommend you get better.
Click on the OC files in my sig and you'll find what you need.
What cooling do you use? I was thinking dual blue orbs! I went to your FTP but couldn't find any programs related to voodoo5.

i have one of those and did a lot of testing on it for overclocking. it was a while ago but i rember the highlights. i used 3dmark2000 and a vodoo overclocker program that had up to220 mhz as an option. i found that anything past 200 actualy lowered scores. i rember reading somewhere that the memory on those cards wasnt good past 190 so that is probly the reason. im in the market for a new card but those little suckers are suprizingly good .
