Anyone here know if it is worth upgrading to a 512 from a 128?

Anyone have experience with this?

For the price of a Live card, I'd upgrade straight to that. I'm not familiar with the 512, but I am the 128. It'll mostly depend on your sound system. Do you have a sound system that'll even be able to utilize higher quality sound?

Yeah, I got some nice altec Lansing 5 peice with subwoofer, and I have had the 128, but have never heard the 512, and was just wonderin if its a worthy upgrade?

i have both if you are using a speaker package (surround)that has front and back(2 jacks) then you need the 512 if its on your stereo(1 jack) you dont need the 512 i bought it for my stereo pretty much for nothing im sure if your not using the extras the 128 would sound like the 512
