Does anyone have/know of a list of how many watts each computer part draws? If they do I think a lot of people, including me, would appreciate it, especially as a way to help determine what size PSU one should get for what they're running, without completely eyeballing it ;)

Here (http://www.howstuffworks.com/power-supply3.htm) is a fairly complete list. It's a little older, but still very helpful.

Hope it helps!

how about how much a fan draws? i just picked up a 1.9amp nmb 172mm fan and was wondering how much it draws. that and a couple 120mm 0.14amp fans.

i started thinking that i know two values, 12v & 1.9amp, so i dusted off the ole physics book and found the equasion to solve for wattage...P=IV (where p= power, i=current, v=voltage).

so to answer my question, my 1.9amp fan pulls a whopping 22.8 watts and my 0.14 fan pulls 1.68 watts. just figured this equasion might help someone else, eventually.
