hi guys,
im in the market for a rackmount (and ultimatly a new entertainment center that it will fit in). i'm into htpcs and the look is important.
anyhow i've seen a lot with a 12cm fan in front, and then 2 8cm fans sort of in the middle. how does that perform? i'm hoping to get into water cooling, and i think that 12cm intake would be perfect, i could put a rad connected to it or maybe build a shroud that fits that and the rad. rackmounts should have plenty of room for a big pump, and maybe a rez too. but i'm wondering about the exhaust, most rackmounts have room for very few fans on the back of the case. i suppose with a 12cm fan and 2 8cm fans the air would just go out the back of the case, but i'd much prefer to find a rackmount case which has a 12cm fan intake, and a 12cm fan exhaust. i'm planning on checking all the pc junks stores in the neighborhood and seeing what i can find for cheap.
anyone know where i could look? anyone using rackmounts and want to share their opinions?
