I have an internal Iomega cdrw that doesnt seem to exist in windows XP, it was made for 98 but is their a way to get it to work w/ XP?

Use the downloads tab and find your CDRW.

well after a LONG time on the phone w/ iomega i got it so that windows media player will burn a music cd, any other program gets an I/O error, any ideas on how to get it to burn data?

I hope this isn't the case, but.....
When I worked at the USGS office in St. Petersburg, we had LOTS of Iomega drives, although none were cd's. They were either Zip drives or Jaz drives. Most, if not all of the Jaz drives were doa or failed with the click of death shortly thereafter. My officemate had a bunch of data stored on the Jaz disks and almost every one was corrupted by his bad Jaz drive. Gigs of lost data and ****ed surveyors! I hope that Iomega makes better products now and your CD-RW is of good quality. Good luck!
