need to RMA my P4S533 with P41.8A and samsung pc2700 that is eating my every win2k install when booting. I am just hopeless.
I was thinking about some Abit i.e. IT7 Max. It looks good on paper. Any experienced users out there that would like to share their opinions......

thanx, DF

I've had mine now for 2 weeks and love it. I've tried 2 different overclocks. It was stable at FSB 172 1:1 mem ratio. I'm currently running FSB 152 3:4 mem ratio.

I'm using all of the ide connectors as I have a CDRW, DVD, LS-120, and a WD 40 GB HD.

I'm using 2 of the 4 RAID connectors for my 2 Maxtors, stripe 0.

hey,

you mean you have all ide devices on separate connectors?

and one question, can I have dual boot win99/win2k on two radi-0 WD 60G or shall I get 3rd HD?

No. I have 2 devices on each ide connector (there are only 2 ide connectors supported by the chipset). The other 4 connectors are supported via the HPT374 IDE Controller. I'm using 2 of these 4 connectors for my raid array.

You should be able to dual boot although I nave not done it. I currently boot windows XP Pro from my raid array.
