I've always used Motherboard Monitor (MBM), which IMO is a very accurate tool for reading temps and voltages (it also does a lot more, and plus it's free). You can download the newest version (5.1.9.1) from Alex's site here...

I just downloaded the MBM tool, took off my HSF, and applyed a thin layer of AS3. I know that AS need a couple of hours before it reaches maximum effect, but I feel the temperature is a bit high.
The idle temp is 44' celsius and 57' max load.... This is a p3 750 prosessor with an aluminium HS with an 2800 rpm fan. Is the temp to high for this system do you think?

What make of heatsink is it? If it's just a generic alloy one, it won't cool your CPU as efficently as an aftermarket one, such as the AX-7 or Alpha PAL8045.

A better fan would also help, a Sunon or YS-Tech running at 35-40cfm at least.

The HSF is originaly from an p3 850 133fsb, and I don't know if that one is cooler than this p3 750
