I really need some help here guys.I bought a secondhand SB Platinum Live 5.1 card with the Live drive bay and remote etc and have a couple of problems.
Firstly the person I bought the card off of had lost the original discs so I have actually managed to locate the driver for the card but I cant get the remote working as all the drivers are update ones which assume you have the original install discs:(

Secondly I cannot for the life of me get the microphone to work no matter what I try,I dont know if this is a driver issue or not but I do know that the mic works.

So my question to you all is has anyone got a link to the original ful install discs anywhere that I can dload......pretty please :D

Also anyone got any clues on the mic issue?

i misplaced the discs to my audigy platinum awhile back, i called creative up and they sent me out new discs free of charge all i had to do was privide my registration info etc...

not sure about the mic thing sorry :(

Thanks mate I actually gave up and phoned Creative and they sold me the driver discs for a massive £1.80 inc postage:cool:

I wish I had known they were that cheap would have saved me a load of hassle least I know now :)
