Doesnt matter if their oc or not, the same thing will happen no matter what.

lol well you have to ALWAYS have a hs on an amd cpu and running without is very dangerous with any cpu bc of the heat it gives off...do NOT do this!

An AMD K6-2 would burn up without a heatsink too......also they would burn if you took the heatspreader off and didn't get the hsf on tight enough <--- I did that one!

TBirds, XPs and TBreds will all burn up very quickly without cooling, and if your heatsink is not on properly it can still cook.

This means you should be careful when replacing the heatsink!!
I've pulled mine literally dozens and dozens of times (3 TBirds and 2 XPs running right now) with no problems.

I did it once when tired and I took a shortcut.
On a volt modded mobo at 2.0 core volts.
Less than a second.
