The title says it all.

Im about to build a computer and i think i only have to decide between these both thermal compounds. I'll use a thermalight AX-478 heatsink and a sunon ultrahigh speed 80mm fan (i hate noise and cant afford WC) and try to hit 3ghz, my case has 2 extra sunon 80mm fans, one intake the other exhaust. PSU is an antec 350W.

As you may guess, ill buy the following to get 3ghz:

P4 2.26Ghz NW 512Kb cache 533MHz FSB
1 512mb corsair pc3000
Abit BD7II

Of course im aware i'll maybe wont hit 3ghz with this setup, but 2.8 or so would be great, so only 1 ºC is valuable.

Thnx for your time

You can get TherMagic from Evergreen Technologies (http://www.evertech.com) for $6.99 plus $3 S&H. I believe you have to call to get that S&H rate. They are still working on their website to accomadate that shipping rate.

In this case your thermal paste is not going to be your bottle neck! If the chip OC's then it OC's. If it does not then it won't;)
1 deg. C is not going to do much in this case! 10 deg. C maybe? 1 deg. C NO!

Dont bother with the TherMagic yet unless you really want to try something new. Currently AS3 is very cheep andeasy to get ahold of. www.SVCompucycle.com has free shipping on AS3 if your interested.
