Helloooooo Forum

In my quest to build the better water cooling system I have found my pump/waterblock/fans but I am still unsure as to what radiator to use. I anyone could offer some advice as to the better radiator brands to purchase that would be great.

Thanks in advance.:)

A good heater core. 87 chevy chevette or similar. DTek sells one with the barbs already soldered on:

I would agree on this. Many people use these heater cores and are very happy with the results. They usually perform a bit better than regular radiators.

With a 12 X 6 you could attach two fans with a shroud, which I think would be more than adequate.

Maybe he took a day off the forums... here's a quote from him from

it kinda depends on what you want

you want a 89camaro heatercore, its 7x7cooling area and 7x8.5 total size...

or a 86chevette core, its like 6x6cooling area.... and i dont know the exact total size, theres a new one just found or somethign that we are looking into...

and then the other advice people usually give: Try going to http://www.heatercore4u.com/ and look around at the rads. Once you find one go to www.autozone.com or another auto website for the purchase.
