Hey I should be getting my athlon xp 1600 soon, and wont be needing this duron 700. My sister doesnt want it(cause my mom spent $6000 on it in 1997 when we didnt know anything about computers),and my brother already has a computer for college ( a really nice one :) )

Anyways after I get my new cpu, the ram/cpu/mobo will just be collecting dust and getting no use. :( and that really dissapoints me. I dont want to sell it cause I probably will get close to peanuts for.

What should I make it into? TV Entertainment box? Also I would need a very very small housing for it then, what small cases can fit a regular size motherboard?

Or should I make it into a pure folding box? I could just keep it in the corner I guess.

I really like the idea of an entertainment box. What should it have? Video card? DVD ROM? HD SIZE? Size of case? Any suggestions will be helpful :)

If you got a really good sound card, you could use it as a surround sound unit for watching movies, listening to music, etc.

You could integrate it into a home theater system.

FOLD!!!! I have a Duron 700 that folds quite nicely. Of course you could take some time to watch a movie on it if you really need to! j/k :D

set it up into a folding/movie watching box, when you watch a movie it'll slow folding dowd and your proc will run like normal.

Set it up to play movies, listen to music, etc. Then have it fold when you're not using it. That way you can enjoy it, but have it do something worthwhile as well.

if you plan on it being a music box... make sure you've got a huge hard drive in it... >20 gb

Ya i've got it decided, I'm gonna make it a entertainment box in my room, its gonna be a mp3/movie player, I'm getting a 4 meg pci TV out card for it, and a 20 gig hd, a Liteon DVD drive, and a smalll black case. Will spraypaint my monitor black to to match the TV, and the surround equipment.
