I am planning on constructing a wooden box, and putting a res + pump, and heatercore in it. Then just ruuning tubes to the waterblock in the case. I want to make the box so that the computer case rest atop it. I have a Cheiftec Dragon Case.

My box ideas are in the image attached. (please excues the bad art). Also I plan on getting an Enheim Pump, would the 1250 be suffient to move the water, and would it heat up my res if i kept it submerged.

I too am using that design, except I usea metal box with case bolted to it's top, almost finished. I have two heatercores for my CPU loop, and one for my GPU/NB loop.
I have gone with the fan setup of having them as intakes and having the cores by the exhaust, so the fans don't directly blow through them.

I use small 800lph pumps (3), submerger in small resevoirs and have not found any noticable increase in temps, and they are well able to pump the water up into my full tower.

Are you getting good temps with it?
