Is this good ram?
Will it overclock good?

I need to buy some DDR RAM very soon.

I never heard of Spectek, but I don't generally pay much attention to name brands on ram.
I cut many corners...because I am Cheap, and have a small Seti Farm to keep up:cool:

That said, I buy all generic ram, but I specifically look for sticks with Micron chips- I have many different "brands" and the ones with Micron chips consistently perform better.

Currently I have one rig @ 173 fsb and one @179, both have the Micron chips, although they are NOT Micron sticks.

As I recall, Crucial is Micron's "primo" division: they get the BEST stuff, and Micron makes some and sells a bunch of the chips to others. Good stuff does make it through.

I don't know if that helps at all, but.....hey, I tried.
