mdm.exe.... what in the world is it?

the subject says it all. what is mdm.exe? it eats into my 512mb of ddr every now and then. doesnt seem to bother anything when i kill it either.

ha, i knew it had to be microsoft, it was eating too much memory to be a virus. anyway, i kept it from running by tweaking a few things since its nothing important
