is xp1880 equal to p4 15 ghz or 1.8 ghz?

curious.cause xp1880 is really 1.5 right.

I beleive its compareable able to the 1.8ghz P4, and yes the athlon xp 1800+ is really 1.53 ghz. The 1800 in the name is the 'PR' rating comparing to another processor, basically saying it has less ghz's but is fast as or faster then a 1.8ghz p4.

The PR rating has nothing to do with the P4, it is supposedly supposed to compare the speed a T-Bird would have to run at to give the same performance as the Palomino in question. The XP1800+ will outperform a stock P4 1.8GHz, so saying it is the equivalent (which AMD states) is not quite true.
