yes, hence the higher model number.

actually, the 7200 is far superior to the 7000.

Where can I find one? Not Newegg, BTW.

Linux or winbloze? I heard nvidia has way better support in Linux than Ati, even though I love Ati cards.

Winders, a course, :) I'm just looking for a good performing AGP card in the price range of 30-50 $.

I see Doom 3 in your avatar, but if you wanna play it you'll need a much better card.

although slightly above you stated price a 7500 is available for 57 to 60 dollars on pricewatch. I have one connected to a duron 1ghz @ 1.33 and it's great. Great image quality and smooth frame rates. Also has great tv output

Its for my dad, he busted his try to push it into the AGP slot harder, LOL

The important thing to look for in 7000/7200 is ddr as opposed to sdram. there are lots of versions of those cards floating around and some are inferior. I'd also suggest a couple buxx more for an OEM 7500.

very true about the vidio output.i had a 7200. my ti4200 is finaly the equivilent a year later and more then double the money. id go buget nvidia for games though. more likely to get most fps for the dollar

Hmm, 64MB SDRAM~@32MB DDR, right?

well DDR is perferred over SDR sdram. But I have to say that 64mb is the minimal amount of mem you should get now a days. Recent game textures are so huge that 32 isnt cutting it anymore. I believe i paid 65 dollars for my 7500 oem 64 mb ddr from newegg

Link (http://www.sapphiretech.com/product/7500LE-147.htm). So all SDRAM 7500's are "LE"?
