View Full Version : Water additives
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what additive to put into water in a watercooled system which has only copper and plastic. The reason I want this is because I would like to absorb any residual air from the system. Any help gratefuly received.

it depends on if you change stuff a lot like i do, if so just add water... distilled water(i use tap:rolleyes: ) but if not you dont have much to worry about because of it just being copper, just add a little of waterwetter or a SMALL amount of antifreeze to kill all the gross stuff...
Thanks for the tip. So far I've been using tap water just to get the system up and running. I'd just like something to remove any residual gas.
What is waterwetter?
Is anti freeze OK for copper? What about isopropyl alchool?
