OK, the only (logical?) reason to run 1Gb memory is if you use it for Video editing and the like, and for servers, correct?:)

you are still a n00b. :D

yes. the average user (even most power users) won't use all 1024mb of that ram. people who have servers, do sound/video editing, satellite image processing... etc will use just about all of it. if i were doing the above stated i'd probly look to get even more.
