Diablo 2 Expansion and Radeon

Ok I don't know whats wrong, I got new drivers, I tried directx7 and 8. and im getting 35fps, 19fps with magic spells cast(fire and stuff). What could be wrong is it because the expansion is new and cant support the radeon well. I have 32ddr Radeon VE. and it skips like crazy. Anyone know whats wrong?

Have you tried posting this to the gaming section? If your card plays all the other games fine then it's Diablo.
