1Gig stick or two 512?

Yo all,

I know the supposedly best thing is to use as few memory modules as possible. But how important is this
I´m getting one gig registered RAM. Should I buy a 1GB module or two 512??

Answer one: Hell, yes. 512 Mb per cpu seem resonable.

Answer two: Yes.

Sorry - I didn´t recognize you have a dual mobo!!

So if the difference in prices isn´t too big - I´d get the 1 GB sticks...

Unfortunatley there is quite a big price difference, a 1Gb module could hardly be found for less than $450.
