and I'm thinking of redoing my cooling system. I want to go water but build it my self this time any sugestions.

you could get a dtek heatercore, maze3 or a spiral, via1300 and tygon tubing. my friend will b gettin somthing similar. that stuff will cost u less than 150 :D

excuse my ignorance but is the via1300 a pump? I have good things about eheim pumps. Also is a inline systems the way to go right?

Why using tygon tubing and not silicone? or plastic? Is it about durability?

Also, what's the most silent pump? Eheim 1048 or via aqua 1300? And what about their durability?

Like he said only eheim 1250....the via 1300 is good, biut I think the eheim is worth the extra cash (for my comfort atleast).
