Is 1600 obsolete?

I am getting a folding rig going and wanted to buy some cheap Crucial so I looked for some 1600 but there is none? what gives? did they just stop making it or what ,I have already put in a stick of 2100 from my main rig but I want it back in there ,so ... is it gone forever?or what

generally it seems to be gone though i did see some in the refurbished section at Newegg a few days ago. think you can find it on pricewatch from some of those funky merchants hehe

If you look on pricewatch you will see that the price difference between pc2100 and pc1600 is fairly small so I would just get some cheap 2100.

The cheap 2100 probably is relabled 1600!
