I only get
1750 Points on 3D Mark 2001 with default settings and about 4500 in 3D Mark 2000 with 1024x768 in 32 Bit
That seems much too low for me, what can I do?

Try this tweak guide for 3D Mark 2001;

Hope that is of some help.

That is actually about average for the system you describe. Do a "search and compare" on Madonion.com and you will see what I mean.

The record for someone with a 950mhz chip (or below) and a Kyro 2 card is 2106. I'd say you are doing pretty good if you haven't tweaked the card any yet.

UR...Kyro II chips do not have support for Hardware T&L (transform and lighting). Mad Onion benchmarks rely heavily on the use of Hardware T&L. If you have Quake III, try using that as a benchmark instead of 3DMark. You'll be much happier.

As suggested above...use google or another search engine and look for some reviews...that should show you what games Kyro II shines in and some that it basically stinks at. I have one and personally I like it..but I dont' play games "alot" and I mostly stick to the "older" stuff like Half-Life, Quake III, Unreal, etc. Good luck.
