Every now and then this rumour surfaces..
So, since 'it' applies to me, I'd like to know if it's false or true.

According to the rumour, if you have over 512mb of RAm in Win2K, you need to change a registry setting, otherwise W2K won't use the extra ram..
Since I have 1024, I'd like to know if I need to run regedit, or not.
W2K Pro and SP2 installed.

TIA!

Win2k will manage and use 1024Mb just fine. Win9x needs a registry hack, and even then does not effectively use more than 512mb.

w2k ram

i assure you the rumor is FALSE

my dad is running 2k with 3 gigs and it uses all of it :D
