There is a thread going on how to hide the client and keep it running even when looged out. I have tryed to enter it into the registry under C:\Program Files\fah\FahCore_65.exe -service. Is this incorrect? It won't startup until I start it logged in. I don't have in the start menu so I could check if it automatically starts?

couple of things.. first i would try both the gui client and the text only client as a scheduled task (should work for XP/2000/NT just fine) but if those simply refuse to work for you then try this:

http://www.firedaemon.com/ and click here (http://www.overclockers.com.au/folding/service-nt2000xpnew.htm) to see a guide on how to set it up.

i hope those work for you!!! if you have any questions just fire away:D

oh yeah one other thing, about th registry method... for the 3.1 text client the path should read C:\Program Files\fah\FAH3Console.exe -service . and for the gui it should be C:\Program Files\fah\winFAH.exe .

if you use version 3 of the console then the -local flag isn't rquired. all that is required is that you put each client in a different folder and when you are setting them up,in the advanced options give the first the machine ID "1" and the second "2".

If you go text client use the service method.

If you go GUI, use scheduled task with the advanced settings unchecked for turning off the service. Furthermore, you set it to start when the system starts with an admin login so it will run when ever the computer is on.
