i got a geforce 2 mx something (Hercules 3d prophet II MX Dual Display Video), and somehow RGB decided it doesn't like blue too much, and kicked him out, so now it's only RG. it doesn't display blue. i like blue too, it was a good color, it helped made white. but now i don't have it, i would like it back. somebody told me that i probably burned out a color filter, i don't know where these are located on the card. think i can just solder over them? somebody said i can bypass them all-together. i don't know, nor do i know how to do these things, and ideas/suggestions? thanks for you time.

This is the best written question that I have had the pleasure to read!!...lol
I am afraid that you may have to call the mfg for RMA instructions.

On my monitor, there must be a wire broken in the cable, 'cuz I don't get one of the channels when I move the cable around. I don't think you would have this problem because all you did was get a new sound card, and have probably moved the cable around some trying to figure this out. I think I am missing Red. Only if the cable is bent "just so" will I get it.

Probably not your problem...

yeah. it's not the sound card, that's for sure. also, it cannot be the monitor, it works fine on any and all other cards i plug it into; full color, regardless of its cord's position. i do know, however, it is the card that's messed up. someone have any clue(s)?
