Hi, I got a P4 1.8GHz currently overclocked to 2.09GHz, the problem is that I have a soltek SL-85DRV3 mboard, It's not that bad but it seems that i can't change the vcore settings:rolleyes: , but anyway my question is, should you raise the VCore when you raise the speed of the CPU? also in my BIOS settings I have an option about CLOCK RATIO, can someone please tell me what the hell is that thing? :). last question, if I overclock my CPU, should i change the VCORE of the agp and the rams? even if i didn't overclock the agp card? or the rams(if that is possible ;))?
NOTES:
my BIOS is: AWARD v35
VCORE of the CPU: 1.75( that's what my BIOS says, sometimes even 1.74, but a program called hmonitor tells me it's 1.71 :o )

Thanks in advance :]

you want to up the voltage on the cpu so that it will become stable. When you overclock a cpu it needs more power to run faster. It is not always necessary. but if you get a lot of crashes and your computer freezez alot, then it wouldn't hurt

Clock Ratio is probably the ratio of your CPU FSB speed to your memory bus speed. As for upping the voltage on the AGP and memory slots I wouldn't mess with the AGP one but you might need to up the memory one if your memory becomes unstable at higher bus speeds.

dont be surprised if you hit the limits of your chip soon.
since its running a default voltage of 1.75v ,its the older willamette core, not the new Northwood, that overclocks great
