ok i guess my good luck was ending. i was testing a 1600+ agoia y for a friend and got around 1900mhz at 1.85v. I had to give it back to him so i went and bought one myself seeing all of the great results i got. got it from newegg. I got the same exact type that i got before. a brown agoia y 0213. i unlocked it.
At 1.85 v the thing will not do 10.5x166. However it WILL do 11.5x154=1780mhz
I am running it right now at 9x193 and that seems to be the highest it will go with this mult.
why in the world can i get 1780mhz stable with a lower fsb and only around 1730mhz with lower mult and higher fsb? did i get a dud cpu?
temps are not the problem nor is my ram.
oh well i guess this will have to hold me off till barton
