NV30 uses 128mb QDR ram????!!!!

Whats funny is that graphics cards run around 30% more bandwidth than the processors/motherboard chips that they are attached to, thats whats really holding back frame rates and other technical mumbo gumbo, IMHO:D

QDR RAM....

Read a recent article in Max PC about QDR ram and it stated that the process only adds a few dollars to the manufacturing process.

On a side note, unlike RDRAM the company who came up with it isn't in it for mega bucks. They just want it to sell and get a reputation.

Do you have a link? I thought NV30 was using DDR ram at 900mhz (450mhz x 2) Maybe i'm mistaken but i'd really like a link.

I’m hoping ATI’s next generation card will stomp the NV30. Maybe it will scare nVidia into a price war. :D
