I rencently lost my 3dfx voodoo 5500 agp card. on that card it has 2 hs/f.
I ripped the fans off b/c it was dead, and i am thinking of modding a new gf2.
the fans from the voodoo5 are rated at 5v. What i want to do it run 2 or 3 fans (5v) off the single line that will be on my gf2 card. Can i do this? will it burn my card?

Well ,you would have a good chance of overloading your motherboard. GeForces already draw quite a bit of power from the AGP slot, and adding a few fans would probably be too much. You should just wire the fans to run off a molex connector, you can still get 5 volts

I agree. Don't risk frying your board and card. Get a spare molex connector and wire the fans into that. The red wire coming off your ATX power suply is the +5v line. The yellow wire is +12 if your wondering or don't know.
