I need to buy a Geforce 3 card and in the UK the ELSA 920 are out of stock.
As an alternative, I've been looking at the Gainward GeForce3 GTS Powerpack which, according to the reviews is a pretty flexible o/c card.
Limited edition "Golden Sample" cards are guaranteed to overclock by 20% by the manufacturer.
Any opinions?

Personally, as a tweaking enthusiast I won't ever pay extra for pre-overclocked anything. :)
All GeForce3 cards come with 3.8 ns DDR (3.8 ns DDR = 526 MHz) 1000/3.8 *2 (ddr). Overclocking the RAM on the GF3 is the quickest way to getting a performance boost. My advice is to get the cheapest GF3 you can find and slap some ram sinks and a chipset cooler on it with some arctic silver epoxy and you're in business.
The base specs of the GF3 are 200/460 core/mem. A practical given is 220/500. (Roughly 10%) Average OOTB overclocks tend to be in the 230/530. (About 15%)
I'm sure an enterprising overclocker could do a little better though. ;)

Well,
I agree. Look into the stock version or a Visiontek.
My Visiontek is able to hit 235/545 stable with no artifacts.
