Sis is the naem of the maker of the chipset. I believe they also just jumped into the graphics card market with the Xabre line of cards.

I see alot of members with the abit bd2ii motherboard. I know from its wesite that it can only support up to pc2100. why izzit that they still buy memory from pc2700 and above???

Officially they support only up to pc2100...but as you raise your fsb speed...mem speed raises also.
So it's possible to use pc2700 and higher
