I had an interesting voice mail from a guy at Corsair. I had called and got their voice mail on Monday to ask if they had any suggestions as to why my stick of XMS3200 was dead. (I have since rma'd it to Atacom). The guy from Corsair tells me that the 845 chipset only supports PC2100 ram and that is why the XMS did not post. I wonder why then I see so many people running XMS in systems with the same chipset? I still believe it is a bad stick.

What the Corsair tech said doesn't really make sense. All ram above PC2100 should be backwards compatible with PC2100. You probably just got a bad stick.

I know that, but it is really scary that Corsairs own tech's don't know that
