I have easy access to a sandblaster, well 3 of them and was wondering if anyone had ever sanblasted their case. I am going to be installing a window and might blast the case for fun and to see what it would look like. Also if I did I would paint it and i could use a spray pump and gun (all of this stuff is my dads business btw). What I want to know is has anyone ever blasted their case and if I blasted it I should be able to skip the first sanding step in the painting process right???

Well sure you could sandblast it to remove the old paint.
Just be careful waht type of particle you blast it with based on the case thickness...sometimes sandblasting can cuase small dimples in metal.
But sand or beadblasting is a pretty good way of removing paint from metal.
Just don't leave the components inside :D

That case is just WOAH. I am drawing my window now, I think it looks good and havent seen my design anywhere so thats a plus. If I decide to paint my case(which I probally will) I will definatly be using that guide and hope it turns out that good.

I think there is a cork medium available for sandblasting equipment. Anything else will pretty much put pits and such in the computer cases since thier so thin and flimsy.
