What is vertical sync...and should i enable or disable it?

It basically restricts you FPS's to the refresh rate of your monitor. At 60hz, 60 fsb maximum. 75hz, 75 fps maximum. And so on. Personally I'd deactivate it

I don't think my card restricts my frame rate, I never touch the V-Sync and get 130 fps in quake 3 demo and 80ish in UT. It would also seem that my 5900 3dMark 2001 would be affected.
