I am thinking of buying ths parts to build two of these:

http://www.overclockers.com/tips910/

Each one will run two fans. One will be for my heatsink, and one will be for two case fans.
Well in the write up it says the max volts it can give is 11.4.
Well, i may want to go that tad over to 12V.
The easy solution I was thinking of is to use a master on/off switch for each set, but have the switch a 3 way switch.
Have a off, on, and on with volt regulator.

Would that work?

Does that volt regulator work good, has anyone else made it?

Yes that would work but lots of energy would be wasted as heat, if you feel you are capable of doing something more complex, have a go at making this: http://www.bit-tech.net/article/51/

it will not cost much more money to make but it will allow you to hgave a fan running at the whole 12v and it can hadle lots of fans. It also produces alot less heat which means the whole case will e cooler

Thanks! Great link!

If I wanted to use two fans with this setup:

Would I connect the fans in parrellel where the one is now?
