Hey finally finished my window what do you think? I think it looks pretty good for a first time. All it needs now is 2 nice red cold cathodes to brighten things up.

yeah window molding was a ***** to get in but it was worht it even though my cut was really nice cause it will help when i have black switches with red lights and white case and it holds the window in really tight took about 45minutes to get in. Got the molding at www.2cooltek.com and the other sutff at home depot

Looks good to me.

Suggestion

Get some zipties, and zip those powercords up, and get some rounded cables, look's very messy.

He doesn't even need rounded cables, his flat cables are not in the way and you can barely see them. Sometimes flat cables are better because you can fold them and get them out of the way even more than rounded cables.

That's the cats ass dude. . . (that means it's SLICK) Just a run of the mill window addition but it's very clean!! That makes all the difference . . nice dremel work :p
Anywho, I was wondering what kind of molding that was around the window? I didn't put any on my case mod cause it looks just fine w/out any but It'd be nice for future projects to keep those sharp metal edges covered. Can't wait to see it with the cathodes installed. Let me suggest this site for your cathodes ::

Go the 8 inch cathode route...
Those are very nice, I got the industrial white cathode for my case and my transparent green window glows. . . TRANSPARENT GREEN! Imagine that lol!

how is the performance of your TDK?

wildbilly2k
07-21-02, 11:40 AM
well it burns at 40x/12x/48x it works well except it burns really fat with 32x and 40x cds but since i have 16x cds it burns slower which sucks
