Can someone please put the Geforce line cards starting from GF2 MX series to the GF4 MX series in order of performance.. (Including the gf3 ti 200, gf3 ti 500, gf2 pro, gf2 gts, gf2 ti etc).. ALso what would be the best buy for perfance with $50 (i can either ebay or at store).. thanks!

I never had a GF2 so I don't know how those would fare against each other, but they're at the end of their life tech-wise so I'd advise against buying one of those.

For $50 see if you can find a used GF3 Ti200, they can overclock over the Ti500 easily. If you wanna save up another $50 goto www.newegg.com and get a 'Gainward Golden Sample Ti450', they are based on Ti200's but come overclocked out of the box to near GF3 original speeds. People overclock those cards WAY over the Ti500. For about $100 it's an amazing deal.

i've been trying to find a gf3 ti200 for $50 or $60 but no luck yet..

The best deal was right here on the forums for a Geforce 3 TI200 vid card. 1Time had them for 70 bucks shipped. I picked one up and recieved it a couple of days ago. Other than that, the best deal that I have found was at www.Newegg.com If you are lucky you might find a refurbished one on there for around 60 bucks. Good luck. A geforce 2 would do you fine, but if you want something that will get you the most out of the games that are about to come out, you are better off to get a Geforce 3, or Radeom 8500.

the original g2mx would be between both, mx400, mx, mx200.

cool.. thanks guys.. what about the geforce 2 pro, TI, and GTS.. those have the same core right? Which one usually has higher clock speeds..?
