These came with my Lian Li case, and I love them to death. I've looked all over San Diego for these and nothing. I don't even know what they are called, or where to get them.

thanks,

omg, i was just abou to post the same thing. I broke to on my case, and I like them alot more then case screws. I have looked everywhere though, and to no avail. SOMEONE has to sell them, and if not, I'd love to find a distributor for them. I'd sell them myself. I definitely think there is a market for them

sersiously, there has to be someone that sells these, and there has to be a market for them. 4 per fan * fans in the case =tons of little black pegs.

for me their main use is for mounting fans and finger guards. Its actually 2 pieces. the first piece goes in the hole, and the second inserts into the other piece which causes it to expand, and hold the fan in place.

hmm, I am inclined to believe these are not the same thing. These break a little too easily fro door panels I think. Though it woudl be worth checking out. However, they HAVE to come from somewhere, since I know atleast Lian-Li, Coolermaster, and sunflower cases use them.

your close. I've taken my F-150 apart enough times to know what your talking about. The ford ones have a different size hole as far as I know. But when I have time I'll take my door off and double check. If they are the same size hole, I have a friend that works for ford and actually has given some to me in the past. The ford ones also work a somewhat differently but maybe they can work.

good thinking!

man, I had an '89 bronco XLT for 7 years, and never noticed. Ofcourse, now that I think about it, the door panel was coming off when i sold it... I'd check my local ford deaership but that don't talk to me anymore now that I "crossed over" to a chevy

They are called "Plastic rivets"
http://www.jameco.com sells them, but I do not know if they have the size you want. Some hardware stores may have them.

hmm, I checked out the site and couldn't find them. I looked under fan accessories, and did a search for "plastic rivets", but to no avail. Could you provide a link or an sku #? thx...

im not sure what they are called in the US, but i saw them in a website www.maplin.co.uk and they were called something like "plastic rivets" or "thumb rivets". they were about 5 for a pound. very handy.

while im here (this will save me posting a new thread).

does anyone know where i can get a case for an ADVENT 3505 series? i cut a blow hole out of an existing fan grill and im worries about the warrenty being voided. i might have to do a transplant.

im from the UK so US based DotComs arn't a viable option because of the shipping costs.

i bought it from PCWorld if that helps??

*EDIT* DOH!! how silly do i look? i just checked the link above my post- its got it right there!! i feel THIS tall>>>>>> '
