well you can see my sig, everything was set at default, no overclock whatso ever.
Used the Omega Plutonium 1.1.07 driver, (not the best benching driver, but for . Scored an 8545 on 3D mark2K1Se registered version, (dunno if there is any diff, hehe)
Will this card overclock to 275/275 without the lash, guess I will only know if I try.
Is there any chance to break 9500 if I unlock my cpu & overclock fsb as well as video card.
Also what would be a good choice of gpu cooler if I decide to do that?

As you know the Radeon 8500 is tricky to get a 60mm x60mm IU cooler to fit, if you could find a IU cooler 50x50mm that would fit nicely and not require any modification.
PS 9500 is definitly not out of the question with your rig

I got 10k on mine on the first try. 12x148 FSB on Agoia 1800+/AK35GTR kt266a. 290/315 retail 8500 128mb. Official 6094 catalyst driver.
I think you can hit 10k but maybe im just optimistic... my first score with my AIW radeon 8500 not OC'd with the original drivers was 7200, now im trying to break 9000 (i can hit just over 8900). my card is clocked at 230/380 by default and im OC'd to 280/400 right now (stupid 5ns RAM)... using the ATi catalyst drivers will probably raise your score but those drivers you are using are supposed to make the framerate smoother/more stable, ive never used them. OCing the CPU/FSB will raise your score a lot, as will setting the RAM timings agressivly if you havent already (CAS 2, ect).
