Newegg RMA?

Okay so I crushed my core, no biggy right? I got money for a new cpu but if i buy a new one that means i cant get water cooling. now my question is, can i get a rma for free? i saw that the refund is to late and my only option is repair.

As far as I know, Newegg won't RMA chips with damage to them. As for a repair option, we know that can't be done.

sad thing is, right off of their site, they said that they cannot take any chips back that have a crushed core, it being your fault or something else.

It's sucks, but I hope that you can work something.

if u got retail u might be able to get another chip from the maker.
