I have a digidoc5 and i am using one of the flat thermal probes that is held on to my grfx card with some of there thermal tape on the back side. My prob is that it is always coming off. How do you guys keep your sensors on your cards?

Where are you placing it for a reading?

I used epoxy - the 2-ton, 5 minute kind you get anywhere. I set the flat one as close to my GeForce3 GPU as possible, under the blue orb that was on it.

I had been puttuing it on the backside of the card right where the gpu is.

If you tape it, the tape may melt.. And heh... your in BIG Trouble :O

The tape didnt melt because i put the tape far away from the gpu but still on the card. Then i just let the probe sit on the gpu backside. It comes off alot so i think i will try the artic silver idea.

try an epoxy thats more durable than that 5 minute crap wich doesnt work for shiz IMO. when you buy it, confirm the temperature ranges it will be exposed too and give yourself a lot of headroom
